At BGE, our goal is to provide safe and reliable electric service. This involves checking and upgrading or repairing our equipment. Sometimes we have to shut off power in your area to access and work on the equipment safely. If we have an outage planned for your area, we make every attempt to let you know well ahead of time. We will provide all the information you need, including date, time, and length of the outage.
We sometimes need to cancel an outage on short notice due to weather or other operating conditions. To check the status, find your Outage Number on the list below. That number can be found on the notice we sent you about the outage.
